Our Winery

Our vineyard in Sárospatak, in the heart of the historic Tokaj wine region, spans 17 hectares, situated directly below the Megyer-hegyi Tengerszem, one of the country’s most beautiful scenic spots. We bottle the magic of the inimitable terroir of these four microclimatic vineyards—Királyhegy, Megyer, Kútpatka, and Ciróka—each with its own wonderful soil conditions. This unique soil is shaped by volcanic rocks composed of rhyolite tuff, a special soil structure, and the proximity of the Bodrog River. This rare and fortunate combination endows each of our wines with an exceptional character. We hold this extraordinary gift of nature in the highest regard, which is why we are committed advocates of organic farming!
We make wines that can show the individual qualities of our vineyards and the characteristics of our terroir. The three classic Tokaj grape varieties: we work with furmint, linden and yellow musk mallow. While respecting tradition, we represent a modern style of wine. In the winemaking process, we attach great importance to the preservation of fresh fruity notes and the emphasis on the unique characteristics of our vineyards, while keeping alcohol levels low. Our range includes six-puttonyos aszú, translation, dry and sweet Samorodni, late harvest and dry vineyard selected wines.
We like to experiment, and not just with wine. We've made verjus, but we also make quince, aszútörköly and törköly brandies, must honey and wine brandy.
