LITERARY GASTRONOMIC EVENT

What if Gyula Krúdy, Mór Jókai, Zsigmond Móricz, and Sándor Márai sat down at the same table, and you could be there with them? On April 24, the Harsányi Winery and Dűlőbisztró’s literary dinner event will bring the world of these great Hungarian writers to life. Four courses, four authors, four moods: a Krúdy-inspired appetizer, Jókai bean soup, Móricz stuffed cabbage, and Márai pancakes paired with Tokaj wines. The evening is hosted by Péter R. Kárpáti with readings. The event begins at 6:00 PM, and the menu unfolds slowly and memorably. Wandering, wine, experiences—together again in the vineyards! In 2026, we’ll be hosting the Harsányi DŰLŐngélő for the fourth time, where, for one day, everything is about slowing down, enjoying experiences, and sharing moments together. On May 2, we’ll reopen the gates to the vineyards:
walks through the vineyards, a festival atmosphere, fine wines and food, lighthearted conversations, laughter—all surrounded by breathtaking views.

DŰLŐngélő isn’t about rushing. It’s a day when you can take your time exploring the estate, get a taste of daily life at the Harsányi Winery, or simply sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy the moment.

Pig slaughter weekend

Discover the traditional flavors of Zemplén at the Pig Slaughter Weekend! From January 15 to 18, we welcome our guests with a special, authentic pig slaughter menu: fresh cracklings, marrow toast, pig's trotters soup, cabbage with pork, hurka sausage platter, and homemade desserts complete the experience. One of the most popular gastronomic events of the winter season focuses on tradition, rural flavors, and a family atmosphere. Our guests with reservations welcome with mulled wine or tea welcome. On December 13, an exclusive Whiskey Evening awaits all connoisseurs at the Harsányi Winery and Dűlő Bistro, where you can embark on a flavor journey through the world’s finest spirits from Scotland through Ireland to the United States. The tasting lineup features such specialties as Johnnie Walker Black Label, Laphroaig 10 Years, Glenfiddich 12 Years, Maker’s Mark and Jameson Black Barrel, for which the chef at Dűlőbisztró has created unique culinary pairings.
